LITTLE KAREL
November 2024 brought us some fantastic news: ROCO launched a brand-new model train of De Karel! With his flashy colours and the stunning artwork by Jesse van der Meulen (Kompaniet Design), Little Karel is lighting up model train tracks all across the Netherlands.
And this isn’t just any model — it comes with interior lighting and real train sounds, making it a must-have for every model train fan. The Electric Multiple Unit Plan V 466, better known as Karel, is available at all major model train retailers.

One of the best moments? Handing designer Jesse van der Meulen his very own Little Karel. The joy on his face said it all. Holding his creation in miniature form was pure magic.
